Just Another Day
I breathe in and I hold it, but this air does me no good.
So I let it out and a big white cloud joins it’s mother in the sky.
I think to myself, what if this world should fall?
Where would we land?
Where would we go?
*It’s just another day
Just another sunrise, I will miss in my sleep.
You’re just another one who will
knock me off my feet.
The store’s only open as soon as the first clerk comes.
So why stand in line if you know no one’s gonna be letting you in?
Well I cannot promise that my door will always be open.
But just give it a knock and you’ll know that’s better than trying to pretend.
*
Fall from the sky like a drop hit your eye,
it blurs your view.
You don’t know where to turn it’s just another day for you.
